Last night’s strong winds beached at least 6 boats in Gulfport. They’ll have to be towed but the city is waiting until the storm passes entirely (@angie_angers on Twitter)

Here’s a few shots of the damage left behind in Gulfport from #Eta. A resident told me these boats were lifting so far out of the water before they hit the seawall that he could see the bottoms ⁦ (@angie_angers on Twitter)

This is what #BayshoreBoulevard looks like at 11:10pm. Water has breeched the wall and is covering the road and the walk way. Some drivers are taking a chance and driving through. Bad idea. Turn around. @bn9weather@BN9#Eta#FlWxpic.twitter.com/vPWHGUKjVY
